The Air Cargo Innovation Challenge is back again for another round and we very much embrace the participation of blogs and their followers. Lufthansa is the first cargo carrier worldwide to offer a platform where everyone - no matter where they live - is invited to develop and present their innovative ideas. The very best ideas generated in last year’s Air Cargo Innovation challenge have successfully made their way through our evaluation phase and are now under further development.
Starting today at Lufthansa Cargo: The 2nd Air Cargo Innovation Challenge. This time we're eager to discuss ideas about Customer Service with you. We welcome your creative thoughts on four different categories:
Inspire Lufthansa Cargo! - join the online community and submit your ideas about ways to improve customer service and processes between customers/consignors, shippers/forwarders and the airline on the platform until November 7th 2012.
Lufthansa Cargo invites the contest winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize) to Frankfurt to present their idea to a team of LH Cargo top management and members of the executive board, including a round-trip Lufthansa economy flight from the winner's country of residence. Additionally, these winners will receive flight training in an MD-11 with a Lufthansa Cargo Flight Captain in the Flight Simulation Center in Frankfurt and Lufthansa Miles and More travel miles (1st place – 25,000 miles, 2nd place – 15,000 miles, 3rd place – 5,000 miles). The person voted the contest's Most Valuable Participant will be awarded 25,000 Lufthansa Miles and More Miles.
In addition the 4th, 5th and 6th place winners will each be rewarded with 15,000 Lufthansa Miles and More Miles. Students who submit winning ideas may also be offered an internship at LH Cargo to support the implementation of those concepts.
